Does The BBB Have Any Power ?
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote trust and transparency in the marketplace by evaluating and accrediting businesses based on ethical standards and consumer feedback. While the BBB does not have legal authority to enforce laws or regulations, it does have the power to provide information and resources to help consumers make informed decisions and resolve disputes with businesses. Businesses that are accredited by the BBB are expected to adhere to its standards of integrity and customer service, but ultimately compliance is voluntary.
